The soil evaluation provides a basic appraisal of the property's ability to maintain a sewage disposal system while profiling soil conditions and water table issues. However, it does not establish building or water quality standards.  Although not valid indefinitely, the terms of the assessment are accepted for an extended period of time for properties that remain unchanged and have similar characteristics to those under which the evaluation was performed.
