Our mission is to
assist individuals, families, and communities in the prevention, assessment, &
treatment of substance abuse issues in an effort to promote health,
safety and community prosperity.
We have offices in
Hartford and Paw Paw.

Prevention Services
are offered to schools, community groups and organizations throughout Van
Buren County. Services include classroom programs such as Toward No Drug
Abuse (TND) and presentations on specific drugs, prenatal consequences and the
dynamics of the chemically dependent family. Also available is summer programming for churches, camps,
schools and youth organizations. Prevention Services participates in local
and state colaitions as well as promotes national prevention campaigns such as Designated Driver, Parenting Awareness Month,
Alcohol Awareness Month,
and the Great American Smokeout. Most prevention services are free to the
public.
Treatment
Programs include individual
and family substance abuse counseling, group treatment programs such as
exploration of addiction and relapse prevention, and WomanHope, an intensive
outpatient program for women. In addition, we offer assessments and screenings
for individuals charged with drunk driving/drug possession, and drivers license
evaluations.
