Childhood Immunizations

The 1998 National Immunization survey indicated that 79% of Michigan’s two-year-old children were appropriately immunized.  There has been steady improvement since 1991 when only 42% of Michigan’s two-year olds were immunized. The U.S. rate is at 81%.  During these years, Van Buren and Cass Counties have been improving their immunization rates and are currently similar to that of Michigan.
